The European Shagya Championships were well attended with 90 horses signed up to compete in halter classes (horses are presented in hand and at the triangle – walk and trot). The Austrian Shagya registry also held their breed inspections on Friday before the ISG Meeting.
Purebred Shagya-Arabians and Arabians were inspected for Shagya-Arabian, Anglo-Arab and purebred breeding. Horses were presented in carriage, under saddle for dressage (including side-saddle) and young riders presented their skills at jumping. Overall a great Show which provided spectators with a wonderful glimpse of top quality European Shagya-Arabians.
